This Link is dedicated to place pictures and diagrams related to Labyrinths for the pure enjoyment of the visitor.

We welcome children of all ages into this page. We invite you to come and play. Adults come awakening the 'child within' and find out how labyrinths are made, and you can contact Peaceful Endeavours to come to your school or organization to custom design Workshops or Presentations to education children, teachers, administrators and parents on some of the ways in which Labyrinths can be incorporated into school and family activities to increase inter-personal communication, reduce stress, behavior problems, learning anxiety, etc.

Peaceful Endeavours specializes in presentations for children, and has experience in presenting the Labyrinth to all levels of learning abilities. This Link carries pictures of children using labyrinths from previous visits and travels around the world.

In many ancient cultures there is the use of a pattern known as the Sacred "G". There is another interesting research that I first saw presented by Sig Lungren that shows how, if you were to begin with this pattern, then "fan" it outward from Left to Right it would, at the full 360 degree completion, make a Labyrinth pattern. Extraordinary!! Enjoy this picture.

This is just a little different, but with practice, you can draw this one too!

Thanks to the research of Nor Matt, we have the pattern for the Egyptian Labyrinth. Visualize a pyramid in the center, see the three pathways in the shape of a square. After walking around the outside of the pyramid three times, you approach the "center ring" then walk around the center circle around the pyramid. There is a replica of this design on Masonic property in Georgia. A vision of Sacred Geometry and human communication with Platonic solids, shapes, energy and mathematics, it is all there!

Here is a picture of the Classic Style 7 Path Labyrinth. The colors put into this labyrinth correspond to the commonly accepted colors corresponding to the energy centers of the body called Chakras. Chakras are commonly called "spinning wheels" of energy that are invisible to your eye, but are metaphysically understood and accepted to exist by many people in many cultures.

This research shows the body alignments and it's relationship to this kind of Labyrinth. Seven Chakra's and Seven paths to the Labyrinth. Coinsidence? That is for you to explore. Many people feel that walking a seven path labyrinth moves through the energy of the body in this way: 3 2 1 4 7 6 5. Which means that as you move through a Labyrinth pattern it is 'affecting' the areas of your body that are corresponding to the "energy centers".

Here are pictures of the beautiful children in a very remote mountain Hacienda School near Taxco, Mexico.

Upon our visit, Peaceful Endeavours distributed cloth Finger Labyrinths to the class, and gave instructions to the Teachers on how to Use the Labyrinth everyday to help the children focus on their lessons. It was a huge success!

We also showed them how to make the simple 3 Path Labyrinth. This is a beautiful girl who was celebrating her birthday the day we visited. After our visit, the Teacher and students made plans to draw a Labyrinth on their playground!

We hope that all the children will take chalk and keep making labyrinths on their own playgrounds, and encourage their teachers to make a permanent one outdoors.

ENGLAND - Saffron Walden, Essex, - Turf Cut Labyrinth -

In Southern England, in the beautiful town of Saffron Walden, still exists one of the oldest examples of a labyrinth outlined in the grass by raised mounds of Earth, called a Turf Labyrinth. This one is located at the far end of the village green, a huge field in the middle of the city. Surrounded by ball fields, and schools.

There is a sidewalk next to it. When school lets out, the parents and children walk right past it. It's a piece of history that still survives. It is open to the public, and when the children pass by, many of them put down their school books and run all over it, laughing and playing.

All day people come by and sit on the bench, walk around it or on it. Many Mothers, Fathers, Grandmothers and Grandfathers bring the next generation to play on the labyrinth. . One of the parents offered to take my picture, so I'm sitting in the middle while the children play around me.
