She is a culturally diverse practicing "ceremonialist" whose ministry is a hands on involvement that takes her out into community to show audiences, through her workshops and tours, how to incorporate the wisdom of the ages, from Sacred symbols to the Labyrinth, into their day-to-day lives. She is dedicated to empowering people and building community.
Peaceful Endeavours was founded in 1989 to share ancient wisdom, sacred geometry, legends, stories and dispel myths associated with indigenous cultures by going out into communities, around the world, creating dialog and experiences.
It was a natural progression to incorporate the Labyrinth into her work.
She has designed and built Labyrinths. Given presentations and workshops at universities, special education schools, educational organizations and The International Labyrinth Society. She has also served on many Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards for non-profit community service organizations guiding curriculum. She has also earned several indigenous honors and titles.
She has been a member of The International Labyrinth Society (TLS) since it was founded in 1999, with involvement in the following activities:
Speaker, Universities and Schools
How I Came To Work With Labyrinths:
"I joined the International Labyrinth Society after attending its 1st International Labyrinth Society Conference in Denver, CO in 1999. When I arrived I was immediately drawn to walk the Classic 7 path, built by Marty Cain, which was outdoors facing the mountains. I was reawakened to my inner sacred geometry and the endless possibilities labyrinths held to be integrated with my Shamanic training and community work. It was a natural fit, and it enabled me to reach a greater audience and to continue my community building work.
The next Spring, in March of 2000, I volunteered, and flew down to Washington D.C. for the "Labyrinths for Peace" Project. Organized by Sandra Wasko-Flood in D.C., I was hosted by Jane and Robert Buckman. The event featured the TLS Traveling Labyrinth Exhibit, and several of its' members placed Labyrinth patterns down on the East Lawn of the Capital Building, for the public to enjoy.
By May of the same year, I was in Chartres, France with Lauren Artress walking the incredible chartres Labyrinth in the Cathedral, and by November, I was a speaker at the 2nd tls Conference in Fayetteville, Arkansas,
talking about the relationship between Ancient Temples, Cathedrals, and Labyrinths.
At the 3rd Conference in Norcross, Georgia, in 2001, I was a Speaker - covering the topic of The Role of the Labyrinth Facilitator during group walks, which included covering Facilitator Techniques.
In 2002, at the 4th Conference in Sacramento, California I was a Pre-Conference Program volunteer and chose to work with school children, and also later gave a Transistional Group Ceremony presentation for the Members and visitors, debuting a new 'live art work' portable Labyrinth called the GRAIL GODDESS © 2002. A personal style labyrinth, of original design and adaptation for the integration of walking a labyrinth, without boundaries, to move into the use of Labyrinths as transformational tools in the 21st Century."
Virginia travels where she is invited, all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe educating and formulating unique workshops that merge all spiritual paths and belief systems together using this perfect transformational tool - the Labyrinth. (Which she feels can assist humankind in its' evolution to find personal empowerment and planetary awakening.)
In the Fall of 2002 Virginia was sponsored by La Casa del astrologo, sc of Mexico City, Mexico and took the Labyrinth Experience to the Hacienda De San Francisco cuadra near taxco, a mountainous city outside of Mexico City, Mexico where she gave a workshop using an outdoor Labyrinth built by Drunvalo Melchizedek. Afterwards she visited the local school at the Hacienda and worked with the teacher and children to teach them how to build Labyrinths. Donating several cloth finger labyrinths to the school. Before she left, the school made a commitment to build their own 7 path Classical style on their playground.
She flew to Costa Rica, and there she gave workshops and was sponsored by the iriria Centre, and met the three current owners of Labyrinths. She was gratified to hear the people talk about beginning a Labyrinth Project to build a 7 Path cretan style in downtown San pedro! Before she left, she outlined the placement, and instructed the volunteers on how to go about staging a community day to build one.
She has studied with many teachers in the Aztec, Mayan, and Peruvian traditions. She was given her Mayan initiation name Ak'Bal-Te at Uxmal, Mexico
In the Fall of 2003 Virginia went to the Highlands of Scotland, Mid-England, and Southern France. Then returned to Northern Mexico, where she has unified communities and created Labyrinth experiences that have opened up their world's to endless possibilities. Culturally integrating the community back in time and then merging the past with the present. Using journey work, and holding sacred space, she uses the Labyrinth like a "temple".
In 2004, Virginia again was sharing her research and experience at the 6th Annual Labyrinth Society Conference in Minnesota USA. Weaving into the "Art" in Labyrinths theme, she gave a presentation on the "encodements" in the geometry of Labyrinth shapes, and offered several ancient and modern ways in which 'tracing the lines' created
opportunities for dimensional 'mind travel' using the Labyrinth with meditation practices. It was an 'experience' held on many levels of awareness and consciousness. All intended to move the Labyrinth enthusiast into other realms of empowerment and reality within symbols.
In 2005, she presented at a Conference hosted by the University of Illinois, Walking Conference, for American College of Sports Medicine, to Doctors, Nurses, Educators and Health Practioners on the benefits of using finger labyrinths with patients after surgeries, and advocated the use of them at hospitals and schools for patients, visitors and staff.
2006 To Present Continues to speak and create workshops around the world. See "Events" for most recent venues.
Virginia has also organized "Peaceful Endeavours - Sacred Tours", and has taken groups to cathederals, caves, settlements; archelogical sites holding 'information' for our awakening in the 21st Century in all corners of the world. She shares her years of research and personal experience from the heart. Taking people to places where they could experience their 'connections'. She has specialized in the Goddess and Magdalena (Sophia) Energy and customizes the tour to the "group" requests.

Virginia has extensive experience in presenting workshops and tours where the people do not speak English, so it is all done with interpreters, and inner feelings merging to speak the langauge of the heart. Which also led to the encouragement of the people and community to create their own portable indoor labyrinths, and they building outdoor labyrinths. (See Pictures and Stories - Guelph, Ontario and Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada).
She will create a safe atmosphere that allows everyone to learn at their own pace. You will be encouraged to just enjoy yourself and have fun!
